The Washington Redskins finally signed rookie wide receiver Devin Thomas, their top pick in the draft from Michigan State. Thomas was the a second-round pick and the 34th overall.
He is the ninth draft pick that the Skins have singed. Tigh end Fred Davis from USC has not signed yet. Davis was another second-round pick, 48th overall.
In his junior year at Michigan State, Thomas set a single-season racord with 79 catches for 1,260 yards along with eight touchdowns. He also set a Big Ten single-season record with 1,135 yards off kick returns.
Skins Finalize Deal With Brennan

The Redskins have netted sixth-round draft pick Colt Brennan with a rookie contract on Monday.
Brennan is a quarterback out of Hawaii, was the 186th overall selection in the NFL Draft and as of Monday morning, Brennan was the eighth of the Redskins' 10 draft picks to sign or agree to terms.
Brennan lit up the NCAA with his run and shoot offense out of Hawaii as he set 31 NCAA passing records during his three seasons at the University of Hawaii, including tossing 131 touchdowns.
He completed 1,115-of-1,584 passing attempts (70.4 percent) for 14,193 yards, 131 touchdowns, and 42 interceptions in 38 games with 35 starts.
Brennan finished second all-time in NCAA history in total offense (14,740) and passing efficiency (167.6) and third in career passing yards (14,193)
Brennan compliments starter Jason Campbell and backups Todd Collins, Derek Devine.
Skins Take Care of Rinehart

The Washington Redskins announced that they have agreed to terms with Chad Rinehart, their third-round draft pick in the 2008 NFL draft. Rinehart was the 96th overall pick in the draft.
The 311-pound guard/tackle played 47 games at Northern Iowa, starting in 44 at left tackle. The terms of the contract were not discussed. Along with the agreement with Rinehart, the Redskins released defensive end Tommy Davis, quarterback Sam Hollenbach and center Kyle DeVan.
