Sportsplex is holding their 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Winchester Exchange Club Child-Parent Center. The 3rd Annual American Cancer Society's DogsWalk Against Cancer is happening on Saturday the 6th at Clearbrook Park in Frederick County from 8:30 - 11am. The Virginia Draft Horse & Mule Association prsents the Old Dominion Horse Show at Comonwealth Park in Culpeper on Saturday the 6th with the openeing ceremony at 8am. Exhibitors from Virginia, Maryland,North Carolina and other states will compete in this show of heavy horses, donkeys and mules. Horses and mules will do double-duty by showing in halter and riding classes and later harness up for pulling events like log skidding or hitched to show wagons, carts and antique farm equipment.
