West Lafayette, IN (Sports Network) - Purdue juniors JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore have withdrawn their names from June's NBA Draft and will return for their senior seasons. "We're obviously happy to have two players of the caliber of E'Twaun Moore and JaJuan Johnson returning to our team," Purdue head coach Matt Painter said. "Their dedication, leadership and work ethic are key components of our team, and we're looking forward to helping them develop as both people and basketball players over the next year."
Johnson is a two-time All-Big Ten selection, including a first-team choice in 2009. This past season he averaged 15.5 points and led the Boilermakers with an average of 7.1 rebounds.
Moore was a first-team All-Big Ten choice this past season after leading Purdue in scoring and assists. He averaged 16.4 points, sixth-best in the Big Ten, and became the first player since Troy Lewis in the late 1980s to lead the Boilermakers in scoring for three consecutive seasons.
